I’m an artist and researcher based in Berlin.
Through my work I investigate the influences of technology and the digital on - and trace algorithms throughout - economics, politics and culture. It focuses on the impact of the former as objects on the perception, fundamental understandings and behaviour of subjects on the level of the individual to then allow conclusions about the latter. My practice employs my background in engineering and AI-development in constantly challenging the accompanying inscripted notions while also encorporating underlying techniques and mechanics - reappropriated. For my work I often collaborate with disciplines outside my practice.
I hold a B.Sc. in Engineering from the RWTH Aachen University and am currently studying and working at the University of the Arts Berlin in the interdisciplinary M.A. Design & Computation.
I have recently participated in shows at Ars Electronica, Frankfurter Kunstverein/Offenes Haus der Kulturen and Fort Hayes Shot Tower Gallery.
In 2020 I co-founded BNSL Studio together with Felix Ansmann.
